About Me
As for a little about me, I primarily identify myself as a bass player. (Specifically, of the ‘big, weird and sorta hairy’ variety. You know the kind.) I love basically all kinds of music, and I’m always doing my best to listen to and play as much different stuff as I possibly can: everything from jazz/funk to death metal/punk, from classical symphonies to classic hip hop. If it’s got a beat to it, I’ll check it out! (Or even if it doesn’t, in a lotta cases!)
Second to bein a bassist, I’d say I’m a born-and-raised Californian, first of Monterey and now livin’, workin’, studyin’, and playin’ in the beautiful city of San Francisco. I absolutely love CA, and, while I can’t wait to see what the rest of the world has to offer, I honestly can’t imagine living any place else.
On top of that, though, I’m a deckhand (I work on a couple boats out on S.F. Bay), a real “Earth-oriented” kind of a guy (I love backpacking and working in my garden), and I do my best to be the stereotypical, unabashed, left-wing nutjob I feel I oughta be (proud vegetarian, Green Party member and reader of banned books!).
I’m also currently doin my best to get hip to the whole “social media” scene, and I’d love for you to get in touch and tell me whatcha think. . . Or just say hi for that matter, what the hell?
